La Maison O "The Round House"

One of New Hampshire's most unique residences did not start out that way. In fact it was not a house at all. The original structure was built in 1865 as a water tank to supply a nearby mill. When the mill eventually ceased operation the entire property was ultimately purchased by the city of Dover as part of a highway construction project. The tank was left abandoned for decades until the 1970's when it was purchased by the first owner who constructed the first living quarters and defined the overall blueprint. Each subsequent owner has built upon the work of the prior owners resulting in this fun and amazing property. Click on here for a detailed history of the property.
